On the first day of school, Mrs Farnsworth assigned her 4th period, 12th grade, Comp. 2 class a homework assignment. They were to bring and item that introduced them to the class. A visual item that told the other class members about them. About who they are.
Returning to class the next day, Mrs Farnsworth started by showing the class a ring. It was the ring that her husband had given her on their wedding day. It was the first family heirloom. After hearing her story, all of the students followed suit. One student brought a pair of Neon, multi-colored converse shoes. She said that she likes to be bright and crazy and likes to have fun. Another student brought a wooden pig, because he use to live on a farm, and pigs like to eat and so does he. Another brought rings of purity, one as a promise to her future husband, and one as a promise to God. Other students brought things like gymnastic medals, quotes, cheerleading pompoms, dolls, etc. Now the class knows a little more about each other.
